This is the most capable midsize truck ever to exist plus it relies heavily on the iconic heritage of the Jeep® brand. Not only is this truck superior on and off the road, but it offers best-in-class 4×4 payload and towing. The new Jeep® Gladiator is being built in Toledo, Ohio and comes in many different configurations. The rugged design features the same seven-slot grille from the Wrangler, but with wider slots to take in additional air and increase towing capacity. It also has an available tonneau cover, bed divider, and spray-in bed liner. With just a few minutes, you can easily fold down the windshield, take off the cover and remove the doors to enjoy open-air freedom like never before.
There’s no lack of features with the Gladiator either. Enjoy the fourth-generation Uconnect system with its different sized displays. You also have access to two USB ports, a USB-C port, a 115-volt AC outlet and even some upgradable options such as a portable wireless speaker and subwoofer for increased sound quality.
The 2020 Jeep® Gladiator also offers fuel-efficient motors. Immediately available will be the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 285 horsepower plus 260 pound-feet of torque. Later next year, we will gain access to the EcoDiesel 3.0-liter V6 as well. This produces 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. With those engines, you have the option between a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission or the six-speed manual transmission. Properly equipped, you can expect up to 7,650 pounds of towing capacity plus 1,600 pounds of 4×4 payload capacity out of the Gladiator.
